BACKGROUND
Paytm, India's fintech unicorn and one of the largest payments and e-commerce platforms, began as a mobile recharge and bill payment platform. As digital payments grew, it expanded into wallets, peer-to-peer transactions, online shopping, wealth management, and stock broking, partnering with Robosoft to build the mobile experience from the ground up.
THE CHALLENGES
Addressing
critical gaps
As offerings expanded from recharges to shopping, investments, and bill payments, users faced a disconnected experience with no unified navigation across a rapidly growing set of services.
Processing millions of concurrent transactions across cards, net banking, UPI, and wallets demanded infrastructure that could handle peak loads without failures or latency.
A growing ecosystem of merchants needed confidence that settlements would be fast, transparent, and reliable, critical to sustaining platform adoption on the supply side.

THE ROBOSOFT SOLUTIONS
We built native iOS and Android apps with an easy-to-navigate UI, unifying payments, shopping, bookings, and financial services into a modular super app.
We developed a secure, PCI-compliant platform supporting debit/credit cards, net banking, UPI, and Paytm wallet with validation mechanisms to verify the source, structure, and uniqueness of every transaction.
We enabled T+1 merchant settlements alongside efficient refund processing for reversed transactions, ensuring transparency and satisfaction across payment disputes.
We built an innovative push notification platform that enables targeted messaging, driving higher engagement and repeat usage across the app.
