After successfully collaborating on the Al Maha Island project for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, we are thrilled to announce our continued collaboration with Power International Holding (PIH), a diversified conglomerate in the Middle East with over 65,000 employees operating across 10 countries. This time, we collaborated to develop the Afiya app, a next-generation patient engagement platform for the Middle East. PIH aims to build a world-class patient engagement platform from Qatar, transforming healthcare through an intelligence-driven, unified patient records system.
The cross-platform patient engagement app uses AI to analyze patient records and suggest accurate consultations. It also allows patients to effortlessly book appointments and conveniently access personal health information from their mobile devices. The app helps hospitals boost doctor utilization while optimizing resources for improved outcomes.
Since its launch, the Afiya app has recorded over 6600 medical appointments and a 99.1% user retention rate, signifying its growing popularity. People in Qatar and other parts of the Middle East find it convenient and efficient to access their healthcare needs through the app.
